Thank to all who came out, set up shows, put us up at their houses, etc last week. It was short tour but we had a lot of fun. Except when the Texas highway took out our front tire.

New Songs, new recordings, new projects

We recently finished recording two new songs ("Flat City" and "Patience Loser") for an upcoming record on Dirt Cult Records. This will be a 3 way split with Defect Defect (PDX) and Foreign Objects (Boston). Look for this record sometime in the next few months- we're excited to see this project finally come to fruition. Once this record comes out, we will put the tracks up for streaming on our music page.

We're currently in the process of writing new material for a second full length. This LP will be a collaborative project between Residue Records here in Chicago, Taken By Surprise Records, and No Options Records, both in Germany. We hope to press the record button sometime in early summer.

We're going to be on the road with LIBYANS in the month of May- the itinerary for our shows together is as follows:

Saturday May 7: Chicago
Sunday May 8: St. Louis
Monday May 9: Kansas City, MO
Tuesday May 10: Denton, TX
Wednesday May 11: Austin
Thursday May 12: New Orleans

On Saturday May 14 we're going to play in Chattanooga TN, without Libyans.

The end of the beginning....

We've had many discussions about how best to exist on the web as a band. Myspace worked for a while but recent changes have been decidedly for the worst. We will try out the blog format to see how it goes. Hopefully this site will let us share our music, show dates, photos, and more; and also let us communicate with friends and interested individuals more easily. This will take a while to get off the ground, so come back often!
